OUR AIMS
AIMS & EDUCATIONAL PRINCIPLES OF SERVICE LEARNING
The India Project is a service learning project based on principles of learning through: meaningful relationships and authentic learning through commitment, teamwork and student-led activities in Geneva and India over a full academic year, and sometimes over many years.

The project aims for commitment, preparation, research, planning, collaboration, action, reflection, advocacy, peer-teaching, student agency and leadership.

The project has built constructive community partnerships over twenty years of collaboration with communities in India to provide opportunities for social innovation.
​
India team participants research into social issues and preparation of project work over the entire academic year.
​
Students experience cultural and linguistic exchange through travel, cultural visits and life experiences that give insight into the rich culture and history of India.
